specifically deals with children/individuals with Autism Spectrum Disorder
(ASD). The Centre will officially open its doors to the public in September
2017 to address the individual needs of those with ASD. The centre offers
services such as Speech and Language Therapy, Occupational Therapy, Special
Needs Education, Psychological Assessments and Interventions, among others.
Education Teacher will be responsible for conducting Needs Assessments,
designing plans of action (Individual Education Plan – IEP), provide the necessary timely education intervention
to the Children, make follow up, advise Head of Therapies on what is needed to
ensure best services.
Experience:
- The applicant for the Special Needs
Education Teacher job must hold a
Bachelor’s degree in Degree or equivalent in Special Need Education from a
recognized University - A minimum of two years of related working
experience in handling Children with Autism and /or special needs
Children. - Previous experience of working with
children/individuals with ASD will be an added advantage.
