Job Summary: The Shift
Supervisor will be tasked with prganising, coordinating and controlling the
operation and dispatch of all production, auxiliary and ancillary plants to
meet demand in a safe and cost effective manner.

Responsibilities:

- Power system control and power dispatch to
meet customer demands - In charge of operating of the plant for
system security and stability - Handle and report emergencies/
abnormalities on the plant - Coordinate the work control process (PTW)
- Perform the following administrative
duties - Perform supervisory activities
- Assist with the development of staff
Qualifications, Skills and
Experience:
- The applicant for the Eskom Shift
Supervisor job placement should hold a Diploma in Electrical / Mechanical Engineering - A minimum of three years working
experience - Computer literacy skills
- Good team player
- Good observation skills
- Decision Making
- Tenacity
- Facilitating Change
- Excellent communication skills
