Aga Khan University (AKU) is a private, not-for-profit, international
University first established in 1983, with 11 campuses and teaching sites in 8
countries. The University is a non-denominational institution open to all,
irrespective of religion, ethnicity, gender or national origin. Since 2001, AKU
has offered academic programmes in nursing, medicine and education for and in
countries in East Africa.

- The applicants should possess a Masters of
Science degree in nursing. Possession of a PhD in nursing or related field
will be an added advantage - The applicant should be currently registered
with the Uganda Nurses and Midwives Council - At least three years’ experience of classroom
and clinical teaching experience at an institution of higher learning,
demonstrate expertise in modern pedagogy and scholarship of learning,
commitment to research and publication, and ability to mentor junior
faculty
