under the provisions of Article 163 of the Constitution of the Republic of
Uganda. Its mandate, functions and powers are enshrined in the National Audit
Act, 2008. The main function of the OAG is to audit and report on the Public
Accounts of Uganda and all Public offices or bodies and/or organization
established by an Act of Parliament.
Responsibilities:
- The Receptionist will be welcoming and
directing visitors to appropriate contacts. - The incumbent will be confirming
appointments for guests to meet office staff. - Tasked with sorting and distributing mails
to respective recipients. - Keeping the reception area tidy.
- Tasked with monitoring visitors access and
maintains security awareness. - The Receptionist will also be answering
incoming calls and respond to public inquires. - Performing any other duties as assigned by
the supervisor.
Experience:
- The applicant should be a Ugandan who
possesses an Honors Bachelor’s Degree in Office and Information
Management, Tourism, Secretarial Studies or equivalent qualification from
a recognized Institution. - At least three years of relevant working
experience in the Public sector or reputable private sector organizations.

- Detailed typed curriculum vitae which
clearly supports the competencies required above - Certified copies of academic
qualifications, testimonials and professional training certificates. - Names of three (3) referees and their
contacts - A recent passport size photograph
which can be obtained from OAG registry, Audit House
through their Heads of Departments
