Job Summary: The Project
Officer- HIV/AIDS Refugee Programme will work closely with the relevant
stakeholders in the West Nile Program to ensure provision of quality and timely
provision of comprehensive HIV/AIDS services to clients within the refugee
settings in line with identified needs and available funding.

Key Duties and
Responsibilities:
Responsibilities:
- Identification of both known and newly
identified PLHIV in refugee settlements - Act as the linkage of identified HIV
positive clients to HIV, GBV, and other related care and support services - Ensure Quality HIV care and treatment
including differentiated service delivery for clients in refugee
settlements - Work in liaison with the different
stakeholders to support accreditation of ART sites in refugee settlements
in line with MoH standards - Coordinate and support training for health
workers in HIV/AIDS care and related fields - Provide input in the drawing of Project
work plans and budgets as required - Manage quality and timely reporting to
donors and other Project stakeholders.
Qualifications, Skills and
Experience:
Experience:
- The ideal applicant must hold a Bachelor
of Medicine and Surgery Degree or degree in other health related
discipline from a recognized University - Also, hold an Advanced Degree in Public
health or a related health field - Possession of a post graduate diploma in
Project Planning and management will be an added advantage. - Registered with the Uganda Medical and
Dental Practitioners Council - Additional training in comprehensive
HIV/AIDS care will be an added advantage - At least two years of successful
management of public health/Health Systems strengthening/ HIV & AIDS
projects. - Familiarity with PEPFAR/US Government
programming policies and procedures
