Coordinator will ensure that our Big Lottery funded Improving livelihoods of
youth with disabilities project is
planned, implemented, monitored and evaluated to the highest possible standards
and in line with Sightsavers systems and procedures. The jobholder will be
responsible for supporting partner organisations implement the project, promote
collaboration with all stakeholders including the District Local Governments and
identify further areas for programme growth and development.
Qualifications, Skills and
Experience:
- The ideal candidate for the Sightsavers
Project Coordinator job placement should hold a Bachelor’s degree in a
relevant field - Prior experience in project management
particularly of donor funded projects. - The successful candidate will have
significant experience implementing education/social inclusion programmes
and a familiarity with national and international legislation and policies
in the field of disability. - Highly knowledgeable in disability and
development issues especially in small enterprise and business management
and be able to understand and work with project budgets - Fluent in English, have knowledge of local
languages
