About Compassion Project:
Uganda Assemblies of God Katajula and Uganda Assemblies of God Mulanda
have Child Development Centres. They are currently working in partnership with
Compassion International in the Ministry of Nurturing Poor Children, and
releasing them from poverty in Jesus name.

Key Duties and
Responsibilities:
Responsibilities:
- Serve as a Christian role model for all
the children, church, families and the community - Serve as a consistence witness for Jesus
Christ with a Christ like attitude in dealing with families - Serves as an advocate for children and
care givers - Prepare and implement partner plans and
budgets - The jobholder prepares and sends monthly
health reports to the Project Director and Compassion Field Office - Takes part in preparing of program
activities and financial reports - Carries out home visits, group activities
and supports the church in identifying the health needs of beneficiaries. - Monitors and reports the health
development of beneficiaries and makes referrals to qualified health
facilities.
Qualifications, Skills and
Experience:
- The ideal candidate must hold a Diploma in
Nursing, Midwifery, Community Health, Nutrition, Clinical Medicine, Child
Development, Education, Theology, Social Work and Social Science related
disciplines. - The applicant must be a mature born again
Christian who demonstrates involvement in church ministry - Computer literacy skills
- Good steward of high integrity with
ability to stimulating good environment for children - Previous experience and knowledge in Early
Child hood, maternal child health and social intervention programming will
be an added advantage. - Age: Between 22 – 40 years
