Job Summary: The
Microfinance Manager will provide leadership and overall direction of business
growth in the Microfinance and Group loan Portfolio, oversee the growth of
quality loan portfolio and deposits, while maintaining a balance between social
and financial goals. The Microfinance manager is a member of the management
team and is a focal manager of the Bank’s Group products. The Microfinance
manager has 4 main areas of responsibility;
Microfinance Manager will provide leadership and overall direction of business

quality loan portfolio and deposits, while maintaining a balance between social
and financial goals. The Microfinance manager is a member of the management
team and is a focal manager of the Bank’s Group products. The Microfinance
manager has 4 main areas of responsibility;
- Business growth and Management (sales
management & Customer satisfaction) - Business development
- Training and staff Development
- Planning & Reporting

Experience:

- The applicant for the Opportunity Bank
Uganda Ltd (OBUL) Microfinance Manager career opportunity should hold a
University degree preferably in a business related discipline. Masters is
an added advantage - A minimum of five years of experience in the banking sector
- Three years of managerial/supervisory experience
- Advanced people management and motivation
skills - Broad knowledge and understanding of sales
management and customer service - Broad understanding of credit and risk
management - Excellent communication skills
- Proven report writing and presentation
skills - Good knowledge of Ms. Office.
- Knowledge of the core banking system is an
added advantage - Achievement Orientation
