community, the Foundation’s medical clinic focuses on obstetric and pediatric
medical care, and provides urgent care for all. The KCHEF Education Program
provides for education and resources to promising students so that the region’s
most vulnerable children may complete their education and lead their community
into the future. With these pillars of stability in place, hope and progress
are real and growing in the Rwenzori region of western Uganda.
officer will be the head of the medical team and will oversee the planning,
monitoring & coordination of the medical programs and the utilisation of
medical resources. As a member of the Senior Management Team, the Medical
Officer will also contribute to organizational strategy, operational planning,
policy formulation and decision-making, steering the organization to achieve
its mission and vision.
Experience:
- The ideal candidate must hold a bachelor’s
degree in medicine and surgery from a reputable university and licensed by
the relevant authorities in Uganda - At least two years’ experience after
internship. - Excellent communication skills
- Broad knowledge and understanding of
Ministry of Health standards and practices, Integrity and ability to work
under minimal supervision. - Familiarity of Kikonzo, Runyakitara and
Swahili is an added advantage.
