Job Summary: The Public
Health Dental Officer will primarily support the management of patients,
families and communities accessing dental services at Mildmay Uganda Hospital
for improved dental health outcomes of clients and their communities



Qualifications, Skills and
Experience:
  • The ideal candidate for the Mildmay Public
    Health Dental Officer job opportunity must hold a Diploma in Dentistry.
  • The applicant must also be registered with
    the relevant professional body/council.
  • At least two years of practice as a public
    health Dental Officer in a busy Dental Clinic or practice atmosphere with
    multiple providers.
  • Extensive knowledge of dental procedures,
    chair side experience in General Dentistry, demonstrable experience in
    proper punching/ placements, making impressions, and usage of dental
    cements as well as demonstrable knowledge of emergency procedures and
    equipment management.
  • Previous experience/knowledge in HIV/AIDs
    prevention, care and treatment is an added advantage.
  • The ideal applicant should uphold the
    Christian ethos of Mildmay Uganda.
