Job Summary: The Business
Analyst –Business Banking will develop and analyse medium to large fundable
credit proposals through effective credit appraisal and due diligence processes
to ensure quality portfolio growth for DFCU Bank.

Key Duties and
Responsibilities:
Responsibilities:
- The
incumbent will also prepare proposals for medium to large credits, taking
into consideration the Bank’s credit policy, with the result of
getting quick approval from Credit department and manage customer
expectations. - The
jobholder will perform annual credit review. Liaising with RMs to obtain
the necessary information for reviews of big ticket credits. - Appropriate
deal structuring and review/sign off work done to ensure that it
meets set standards and complies with credit policy. - The
incumbent will also ensure proper pricing on a revenue/expense basis and
ensure full collection of fees and commissions whilst growing the revenue
line. - The
incumbent will manage all aspects of credit application including
structuring, documentation and risk management. - Do
a thorough analysis of the customer information and customer accounts
advise the RM on any additional incomes that can be derived from the
customers. - Visit
and confirm existence of the business through call reports and
confirm authenticity of all other information as provided by client before
submitting new and existing credit applications to the credit department.

Analyst –Business Banking job opportunity must hold a Bachelor’s degree (Business
Studies, Management, Economics) - Possession
of post graduate training (Finance, Banking, Project Appraisal, Business
mgmt. etc.) - At
least three years’ experience in business appraisal or related field - Advanced
credit analysis skills – interpretation of financial information - Excellent
interpersonal skills – ability to quickly build rapport with strangers - Customer
focused - Excellent
written and oral communication skills - Forecasting
and business modelling - Good
computer skills - Leadership
and staff management skills - Excellent
