Job Summary: The Agriculture
Finance Manager will grow Agriculture business in terms of assets (loans) and
liabilities (customer deposits), customer base and income through personal
selling activities within existing customer portfolio and getting new ones
within the Bank’s target markets of micro banking and SME agriculture segments.
Effective relationship management resulting in optimization of customer
satisfaction, retention and wallet share through multiple marketing solutions
(cross-selling) from the entire range of the bank’s products and services is critical.

Portfolio Growth:
- Tasked with the growth of the Group
product organization wide, making sure growth and quality targets are achieved - Keenly monitor performance of the group
portfolio making sure key risks are mitigated - Performance Management
- Responsible for the performance management
of the Group officers through working directly with the Branch
Managers/Supervisors to make sure individual performance targets of
officers are met and remedial steps taken if performance targets are not
met
Business Development: Tasked
with the development of Group products that will contribute to the achievement of the overall growth of the
portfolio

Training and Staff Development:
- Develop Training materials for Group
lending - Facilitate training of staff on Group
lending credit
Qualifications, Skills and
Experience:

Uganda Ltd (OBUL) Agriculture Finance Manager employment opportunity
should hold a Bachelor’s degree in commerce, Business or Management
related area - A minimum of five years’ experience in
Microfinance and Banking at middle Management - Excellent interpersonal skills
- Good oral and written communication skills
- MIS basic functional reports
- Good knowledge of the Lending operations
- Be a self-starter and highly motivated
- Results Driven
- Resilient and hard working
