Micro, Small and Medium Entrepreneurs of Uganda. BRAC boasts of promoting
financial inclusion by extending financial services to the un-served and
underserved, now with over 212,000 borrowing clients, over 150Bn loan book with
98% recovery rate, operationally and financially self sustaining.

Key Duties and Responsibilities:
- Prepare and submit monthly projects
financial reports - The Project Accountant will maintain
projects-related records, including contracts, agreements and Memoranda of
understanding - Prepare Bank and Funds reconciliations for
the projects - Keenly review and advise on requests
related to the projects and ensure continuous budget monitoring - Review and recommend overhead charges to
be applied to the projects - Review supplier invoices and billings
related to the projects - The incumbent will analyse the budget
against actual expenditure, investigate projects variances and submit
variance reports to management. - Compute and submit tax and payroll related
expenses related to projects for consolidation - Manage project assets, stock and inventory
and report regularly on status - Compile information for internal and
external auditors for the project, as required.
Qualifications, Skills and
Experience:
Experience:
- The applicants for these jobs must hold
Bachelor’s degrees in Business Administration (BBA), Bachelor of Commerce
(B. Com), Finance & Accounting or a related field - Partial qualification (level II) in ACCA,
CPA or a related will be added advantage. - At least three years’ experience in
Accounting with a seed company or NGO. - Excellent computer skills
- Excellent reporting and analytical skills
- Knowledge on using accounting packages
- Excellent interpersonal skills
- Good communication skills
