Key Duties and
Responsibilities:
Responsibilities:
- Manages and develops ICT systems to ensure
high availability of ALL ICT services. (Including but not limited to; ICT
access for all teams (e-mail, web, and intranet), Telephone system and
Bio-metric systems. - The jobholder aligns the IT strategy with
the Watoto Ministries strategy, identifies the business IT needs and
formulates initiatives to meet those needs. - The incumbent also documents and
articulates the Watoto strategy to the business leadership and provides
periodic progress updates - Develops, reviews and ensures that IT
policies and procedures are regularly followed, and this is ensured by
reviewing logs, reports and other outputs from various processes. - Tasked with the management of ICT
Technical Infrastructure & Systems - Contract and Vendor Relationship
Management - Ensures adequate processes, communication
and technology support for users to meet Watoto’s risk management
requirements - Prepares quarterly reports to the business
leadership on Watoto expenditure vs. budgets with details on variances
identified. - Provides leadership for the IT department
Team - Develops a formalized training program for
all users with the aim of raising skills standards and awareness in the
use of ICT applications to promote consistency across the ministry
Qualifications, Skills and
Experience:

- The applicant for the Watoto Child Care
Ministries Team Leader, IT job
placement should hold a Bachelor’s degree in ICT, Computer Science or
Electrical engineering, Industry Certification from either CISCO, Microsoft
or Oracle. - A minimum of seven years of related
working experience in an IT Leadership role, experience in Microsoft
Dynamics will be an added advantage - Previous experience with Microsoft
Dynamics. - Proven experience in project management
- Broad knowledge of budgeting, Financial
planning and management reporting - Good leadership skills
