for their client, a reputable commercial bank registered by Bank of Uganda.
Responsibilities:
- The jobholder will be contributing to the
development of the Bank’s strategic and business plan, in relation to ICT - Tasked with developing, implementing, and
maintaining a financial management process - In charge of developing the ICT continuity
plan/DRP and ensuring that it is implemented, tested and maintained - Developing, implementing, and maintaining
a software management strategy that ensures compliance with software
licenses - Responsible for developing, implementing,
and maintaining the ICT security policy - Developing, implementing, and maintaining
and proactively communicate ICT policies and procedures - Ensuring that all ICT procurement is
undertaken in accordance with the procurement policies and procedures - Taking responsibility for ICT staff are
appropriately motivated and trained - Ensure that the performance of ICT staff
is appraised and assessed - Tasked with developing and implementing
data security policies - Developing, implementing, and maintaining
policies and procedures to support ICT service level management, - ICT change management and ICT
configuration management.
Qualifications, Skills and
Experience:
- The ideal candidate must hold a Bachelor’s
degree in Computer related subject or equivalent - Professional qualifications such as CCNA,
MCP, OCP, MCDBA - A minimum of six years’ experience in the
design, development and implementation of information technology and
communications systems, - Broad knowledge and experience in
developing, supporting and managing information and communications systems
with appropriate controls and budget processes. - Substantial management experience and
experience of managing IT project and budget - Broad understanding of computer systems,
computer application and operating systems - Analytical and problem solving skills
- Excellent interpersonal, communication and
negotiation skills - Employee development and performance
management skills - High level of integrity and ethical
standards - The ideal candidate should be highly
motivated and self-driven. - Age: Between 30 – 45 years.
