Job Summary: The Assistant
Education Officer will assist the Education Officer in planning, coordination
and promotion of easy access of Education for Refugee children in schools.

- The ideal candidate for the InterAid
Uganda Limited (IAU) Assistant Education Officer job opportunity should
preferably hold a Bachelor’s Degree in Education or any other related discipline - At least two years relevant work
experience in implementing Education programs in an NGO environment is
preferred - Broad knowledge and understanding of
Uganda’s Education system - Ability to understand and interpret the
current education policy of Uganda and properly align it to the refugee
communities - Computer literacy skills i.e. proficiency
in MS Word, power point and excel. - Good team player.
- Ability to ride a motorcycle
- Good planning and organisational skills
- Good communication skills both oral and
written. - Ability to work under multicultural
environment and setting.
