Job Summary: The Press
Technician will operate the press and auxiliary equipment properly so as to
timely produce a quality product and attain the print order in the most cost
effective way.

Responsibilities:
Responsibilities:
- Operates
the reel stands, the printing press and auxiliary equipment - Ensures
good quality materials are used on the press. - Prepares
and submits production reports - Conducts
minor maintenance of equipment - Carries
out press shutdown
Qualifications, Skills and Experience:
- The applicants for the MPL Press
Technician job placement should hold a Uganda Certificate of Education (O level) or equivalent - Certificate
in printing technology - A
minimum of two years of related working experience, preferably in a
printing environment of a media house. - Very
strong drive for results - Strong
analytical and problem solving skills - Ability
to follow through and close issues - Willingness
to work long hours - Good
planning and organization skills - Excellent
report writing skills
