93.3KFM, 90.4 Dembe FM, Nation Couriers and the Monitor Business Directory.
Internal Auditor will mainly review financial and operational internal controls
and to make recommendations on areas of weakness to ensure they operate as
designed, review management accounts and financial statements and review
economy in the use of company resources and make recommendations.
Responsibilities:
- Executes assigned audits efficiently
including discussion with management and review of prior audit results - Uses appropriate judgment when quantifying
the significance of risks and the effectiveness of compensating or
mitigating controls - The jobholder identifies and discusses all
control weaknesses and recommendations for efficiencies with management. - Escalates significant identified control
weaknesses to the Internal Auditor and the GIA - Identifies and communicates apparent
failures in control framework within processes - The incumbent communicates and reviews
audit results with management and ensure management commitment to the
audit outcomes. - Prepares and Issues reports for review by
the Internal Auditor - Ensures sufficient evidence in audit
working papers and file to support audit conclusions - Tasked with the completion of a checklist
at the end of the assignment demonstrating that the necessary procedures
have been followed - Identifies good business practice and
ensures it is shared within the audit team and business - Promotes cost effective key controls
- Keenly monitors implementation status of
past internal and external audit recommendations - Carries out special audits and
investigations
Experience:
- The applicants for the MPL Assistant
Internal Auditor job vacancy should hold a Bachelor’s degree in a Business
related course from a recognized institution - Professional certificate i.e. CPA or ACCA
- One to two years of relevant experience.
- Proven technical skills;
- Excellent oral and written communication
