Human Resources will be responsible for providing direction in the overall
management and co-ordination of the Human Resource ; offer guidance and advice
on Human Resources Management matters in line with the relevant policies,
regulations and laws
Responsibilities:
- Provide leadership and strategic direction
by assuming overall responsibility of driving the Human Resource
Directorate in SFHN; - Initiate, plan and develop a people and
culture policy, strategies, systems and structures that will lead to
organizational performance and development - Initiate, develop, implement and review
Human Resource policies and practices in line with SFHN’s Strategic Plan
and environmental changes. - Develop and monitor Human Resource
Directorate annual plan in line with the Hospital Strategic Development
and Investment Plan and Human Resources plan. - Continuously review and monitor key
aspects of Human Resource management and development strategies, systems
and processes to support and achieve SFNH’s overall management objectives
and strategy. - Develop targets and objectives that will
drive the Human Resource Directorate in line with the Human Resource
policies and Strategic plan. - Initiate, monitor and review systems, strategies
and staff training, development and talent management programs for
capacity building, and strengthening staffs’ knowledge, and experience and
skills base for delivery of integrated quality healthcare services in line
with the Hospital Strategic Plan and in conformity with MoH guidelines. - Develop, implement and monitor performance
management, measurement and control systems linked with reward systems
that lead to staff motivation, growth and retention; oversee staff
compliance with performance management systems; - Initiate, plan and develop Human Resources
risk management policy and strategies in line with hospital mission and
values
Experience:
- The ideal candidate should preferably hold
an Honours Bachelor’s Degree in Human Resource Management obtained from a
recognized University/Institution - Possession of a Masters Degree in Human
Resource Management or organizational Psychology from a recognized
University/Institution - Professional Human Resource qualification
and added advantage of active membership to HRMAU - A minimum of ten years of related
experience in Human Resource Management, three of which should have been
at Senior/Head of Department level gained from a reputable organization - Ability to steer a highly technical, results
– oriented and dynamic team - Good team leader
- Good mentor with the ability to counsel
staff from Top Managers to the shop floor
