About USAID RHITES-E Project:
IntraHealth International will implement the USAID RHITES-E which
supports the Government of Uganda (GOU) and key stakeholders to increase
availability and utilization of high quality health services in 21 districts in
Eastern Uganda and 2 in Karamoja by strengthening health systems and improving
the quality of, access to, and demand for health services with attention to
equity and underserved populations.

Job Summary: The Supply
Chain Management Officer will support Supply Chain Management (SCM) activities
for all key commodities (including pharmaceuticals and laboratory) on the USAID
RHITES-E Activity at cluster level. The incumbent will give supervisory and
technical support for the planning, handling, and management of HIV/AIDS, TB,
RMNCAH, malaria, and nutrition commodities for all RHITES-E supported health
facilities within a cluster of districts. The SCM officer is also responsible
for support and capacity building in health commodity forecasting,
quantification, ordering, storage and use across all supported districts and
health facilities.

- The applicants for the USAID RHITES-E Supply
Chain Management Officer job opportunity must hold a Bachelors of Pharmacy
or Equivalent. Possession of a master’s degree or a professional course
will be an added advantage. - At least three years of related work experience.
