About USAID RHITES-E Project:
IntraHealth International will implement the USAID RHITES-E which
supports the Government of Uganda (GOU) and key stakeholders to increase
availability and utilization of high quality health services in 21 districts in
Eastern Uganda and 2 in Karamoja by strengthening health systems and improving
the quality of, access to, and demand for health services with attention to
equity and underserved populations.
Job Summary: The Program
Officer will provide support to project staff with the overall aim of ensuring
smooth functioning of operations and project activities. S/he is an integral
part of the administrative team and will work closely and directly support
senior management and technical staffs to ensure project needs are met.
Qualifications, Skills and
Experience: 
  • The ideal candidate for the USAID RHITES-E
    Program Officer job placement must hold a Bachelor’s Degree in Project
    Planning and Management, Social Sciences, or a related field.
  • At least four years’ experience in
    management or project work, coordinating training, knowledge management,
    tracking and following up project procurements. Qualified persons from
    cluster regions are encouraged to apply.
