Executive will be responsible for ensuring the delivery of sales and profit
targets through proactive business development. This role requires someone who
can demonstrate successful sales coupled with computer sales experience. Your
other key responsibilities will be to optimize future sales opportunities &
build up a strong pipeline of future business.
Responsibilities:
- The jobholder also monitors competitor
products, sales and marketing activities. - Builds and maintains relationships with
industry influencers and key strategic partners. - Guides preparation of marketing activity
reports and presents to executive management. - Establishes and maintains a consistent
corporate image throughout all product lines, promotional materials, and
events. - Directs sales forecasting activities and
sets performance goals accordingly. - Directs staffing, training, and
performance evaluations to develop and control sales and marketing programs. - Directs market channel development
activity and coordinates sales distribution by establishing sales
territories, quotas, and goals. - Meets with key clients, assisting sales
representative with maintaining relationships and negotiating and closing
deals. - Coordinates liaison between sales
department and other sales related units. - Keenly analyzes and controls expenditures
of division to conform to budgetary requirements. - Prepares and submits periodic sales report
showing sales volume, potential sales, and areas of proposed client base
expansion. - Reviews and analyzes sales performances
against programs, quotes and plans to determine effectiveness. - Directs product research and development.
Experience:
- The applicant should at least hold a
diploma in sales, marketing or business administration or a related field. - The ideal candidate should have at least
one to two years’ experience in sales and marketing - The applicant should have a background and
understanding of the computer supplier and distributorship industry - Passionate about selling
- The applicant should have experience in
selling non-known or small brands in the market preferably in the
computing industry. - Street smartness
- The applicant should have a penchant for
looking for business - The candidate should be capable of
achieving sales targets of 200% or closer as compared to their target. - Excellent track record in winning new
business in the service industry - Reasonable degree of technical acumen to
support clients in their immediate technical needs for computers and
related accessories - The applicant should be well-versed with
latest trends in the computer industry and market - Results-oriented and able to work both
independently and within a team environment - Previous experience in winning new
business and contract costing - Excellent verbal and communication skills
- Computer literacy skills i.e. proficiency
in Microsoft Office Suite and ability to present at management level - Highly sales-driven, Enthusiastic with the
ambition to seize every opportunity - Able to work under pressure.
