Manager

suffering. LWF Uganda works to reduce people’s vulnerability, supporting them
to realize their potential, to build on their assets, and to respond to their
own problems and needs. LWF Uganda currently has five areas of operation in
Pader, Kitgum, Adjumani, Katakwi, Sembabule, Kampala and Kamwenge Districts.
Manager will primarily take responsibility for the day to day management,
quality assurance, and reporting of the LWF/DFiD Project, in line with the
approved project documents and signed cooperation agreement. With the Team
Leader supervision, the Project Manager will supervise a team of 3 project
officers, 4 field extension workers, and 10 incentive workers in Lamwo Sub
Program and will coordinate with relevant sector-heads to implement the
LWF/DFiD project.
Experience:
- The ideal candidate for the Lutheran World
Relief (LWR) Project Manager job opportunity should have several years of professional
experience as a project leader or manager, preferably in internationally
funded projects. - Excellent
English report-writing and communication skills. - Previous
exposure and experience with monitoring and evaluation (M&E) as
well as budget management. - Experience
working with refugees/displaced people or similar experience. - Excellent
organization and time management skills.
