Job Summary: The Child
Protection Officer will provide support in the implementation of programme
activities to strengthen child protection, and promote Protection integration
in coordination with other stakeholders and partners.

Experience:
Experience:
- The ideal candidate for the InterAid
Uganda Limited (IAU) Child Protection Officer job opportunity should
preferably hold a Bachelor’s Degree in Social Sciences, Law, Human Rights,
Arts, Education, Social Work and Social Administration, Psychology, Child
Development, Child Psychology, Community Psychology, or any equivalent
accrued working experience in a related position - At least five years’ experience in
programme development and implementation of child protection programs with
an NGO. - Additional professional training in child
protection will be an added advantage - Extensive knowledge and understanding of
child rights issues and child rights instruments. - Excellent communication skills, oral
written and presentation. - Excellent computer skills i.e. proficiency
in Ms Word, excel and power point - People centred.
- Good report writing skills
- Ability to work under a multi-cultural
environment.
