Relationship Manager Local Corporates will manage the Local Corporates
portfolio and achieve set business and profitability targets of the segment;
through successful delivery of tailor-made financial solutions to customers by
leveraging on the bank’s products and services
Responsibilities:
- The jobholder will act as the focal
contact point for the bank’s Local Corporates portfolio of customers. - Generate and convert the majority of leads
into highly profitable clients by making at least 25 quality sales calls
per week to target customers. - Acquire, retain customers and grow the
existing portfolio thereby maximizing value. - Manage the business relationship with the
local corporate customers’ of the bank. - Identify business opportunities to bring
in product partners to sell multiple products (lending, transactional
banking, and forex) to clients. - Build and maintain a portfolio of clients
with an acceptable risk / reward ratio. - Ensure that close customer attention is
given to provide a full array of financial solutions and services tailored
to meet the growth needs and potential of the portfolio. - Work in liaison with all stakeholders to
ensure seamless service is offered to the customers. - Identify cross-sell opportunities within
the portfolio of customers to maximize the bank’s revenue.
Experience:
- The ideal candidate for the Ecobank
Relationship Manager Local Corporates job opportunity must hold a
Bachelor’s Degree in Commerce, Business Administration or any other
related discipline. - At least eight years’ experience with
specific responsibility for corporate sales management preferably with a
financial institution. - Sound knowledge of banking products,
general banking laws and practices. - Good analytical skills in financial
statement analysis, competitor analysis and segmentation analysis. - Excellent customer relationship management
skills. - Excellent personal presentation and communication
skills. - Good interpersonal and teamwork skills.
- Good negotiation and stakeholder
management skills. - Ability to work well under tight
deadlines.
