partner in implementing the USAID Regional Health Integration to Enhance Health
Services in Eastern Uganda Project
(USAID/Uganda RHITES E) whose aim is to support the implementation of a
comprehensive integrated investment in regional health, nutritional assistance
and HIV/AIDS programs. The five-year project targets 21 districts in Eastern
Uganda and Karamoja through a district-based integrated package of quality
health, nutrition, HIV / AIDS and child development services.
Experience:

Monitoring & Evaluation & Learning Officer job placement must hold
a Bachelor’s Degree in Statistics or Social Sciences: Sociology,
Demography, Quantitative Economics, Development Studies or any related
social science discipline - A minimum of five years’ experience of
data management experience. - Excellent communication and interpersonal
relationship skills. - Broad knowledge and understanding of M
& E as a management tool; - Previous experience working on M&E for
USAID programs desired, experience working on M&E for national-level
behavior change communication programs required; - Sound working knowledge and technical
competences in research, monitoring and evaluation principles,
methodologies, practices and proficiency with data analyses using
recommended computer packages; - Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
(Word, PowerPoint, Excel), and demonstrated proficiency in using at least
one data management software package, one quantitative software package,
and one qualitative analysis software package. - Excellent command of written and spoken
English and willingness to work for long hours.
