University
Uganda. Established in 1992, Ndejje University is the oldest privet university
and the fastest growing in Uganda. In 1995 the university gained its status
under the ownership of six church of Uganda dioceses in Buganda Region in what
is known as “Ndejje university Foundation consortium”. The consortium is
registered as Company limited by Guarantee, not having share capital.
Responsibilities:
- Provide support in recruiting staff,
developing job descriptions and specifications. - Guiding on pay and remuneration issues and
including promotions and benefits. - Interpreting and advising on employment
policy and labour laws. - Developing together with the Deans, and
Project Planning Officer, strategies which consider immediate and long
term staff requirements. - Planning and sometimes delivering training
sessions including inductions of new staff.
Experience:
- The ideal candidate must hold a Master’s
degree in Human Resource Management or related field or its equivalent,
Certificate in Administrative Law Officers Course - At least ten years’ experience in similar
position in a higher institute of learning with two years experience in a
supervisory capacity.
