Job Summary: The Entertainment
News Writer will create engaging Ugandan content on entertainment, lifestyle
and fashion which we will serve to our ready audience.

Key Duties and
Responsibilities:   
  • The incumbent will be writing stories for the
    Ugandan audience that will be read and shared by many people
  • Keenly track social media trends across
    platforms
  • Actively participate in brainstorms with
    other writers and editors.      
Qualifications, Skills and
Experience:  
  • The applicant should preferably be a young
    person who recently graduated from college
  • At least three months’ experience in some
    form of professional writing
  • Possess excellent writing and grammar
    skills
  • Ability to work without supervision and
    are comfortable writing several items per day
  • Passionate about blogging
  • Keen interest in Ugandan entertainment
  • Strong researching skills
  • Ability to handle deadlines
  • Familiarity with social media platforms
