AIDS Healthcare Foundation (AHF) is an international not for profit
NGO, with its Headquarters based in Los Angeles, California. Aids Health Care
Foundation is registered in Uganda as Aids Health Care Foundation – Uganda
Cares (AHF-UC) which is collaboration between the Uganda Ministry of Health and
AIDS Healthcare Foundation (U.S.A) to provide free HIV/AIDS services; including
anti-retroviral therapy in resource constrained settings.
Key Duties and
Responsibilities:  
  • Mobilizes potential clients for
    participation in project activities.
  • Sensitizes potential clients on the
    objectives of the project and its implementation modalities.
  • Supervises the formation of groups.
  • Trains clients on savings and loan
    policies and procedures.
  • Manages the loan processing exercise.
  • Disburses loans.
  • Supervises the loan collection exercise on
    a weekly basis.
  • Supervises the savings mobilization
    exercise.
  • Keenly monitors clients’ business
    enterprises to ensure proper utilization of loan funds.
  • Builds and nurtures linkages with partner
    institutions that can offer training and advisory services to clients.
  • Prepares periodic management reports for
    submission to Head Office.
Qualifications, Skills and
Experience: 
  • The ideal candidate should preferable hold
    a Bachelor’s Degree in Commerce, Economics, Development Studies, Social
    Sciences, or other related field.
  • At least two years’ experience in the
    implementation of Micro-Finance activities at community level
