Handicap International is an independent and impartial international
aid organisation working in situations of poverty and exclusion, conflict and

implement its actions and social mission.
Key Duties and
Responsibilities:  
  • Actively contribute to the definition of
    programmatic strategy
  • Tasked with coordinating and leading on
    project proposal development
  • Leading on external reporting including
    effective monitoring and support for donor compliance
  • Responsible for networking and representation
    of HI as relevant
  • Overseeing the progress, relevance and
    quality of programmes implemented through ensuring and implementing
    effective monitoring and quality assurance frameworks with a strong focus
    on LRRD
  • Team Management
Qualifications, Skills and
Experience:
  • The ideal candidate for the Handicap
    International Operations Coordinator job opportunity should have at least
    three years’ experience in a senior NGO programme position preferably
    within both emergency and development set up
  • Previous experience with Handicap
    International is an added advantage
  • Advanced planning, assessment, analytical,
    leadership and management skills
  • Skills and experience in funding proposal
    development
  • Previous experience in dealing with donors
  • Strong working knowledge of English
    (spoken and written)
  • Excellent networking capacities
  • Good communication capacities
  • Computer literacy i.e. proficiency in
    Microsoft applications
Job Benefits:
  • Salary: 2750 € (gross) / month regarding the experience of the
    candidate
  • Perdiem: 517 (net)
