Outcomes for Children and Youth in Central and Western Uganda over the next
five years. The Project will improve the health, nutrition, education and psychosocial
wellbeing of vulnerable populations, as well as reduce abuse, exploitation and
neglect to a minimum of 625,000 children and 101,500 households in 17 districts
in central and western Uganda. The
Project is being implemented by a consortium of partner consisting of CRS being
the lead, Futures Group, ACODEV, Palladium, ANPPCAN and TPO.
and Evaluation (M&E) Assistants will support the implementation of the
pre-graduation assessment that will be conducted in the SOCY districts of
operation. The M&E Assistants will supervise a team of research
assistants/enumerators in the districts.
The M&E Assistants will support up to two (2) districts.
Responsibilities:
- Tasked with managing field logistics and
overseeing the data collection team - Actively participate in the review of the
data collection tools - Take part in the training for M&E
assistants and training of the enumerators - Ensuring data is collected in a timely and
accurate manner - Ensuring that there is timely remote
upload of data into the central server - Work in liaison with district level
partners to analyze and interpret district and regional level data - Responsible for facilitating the debrief
and review meetings - Keeping the regional M&E specialist
abreast of the progress in the data collect process in each of the
districts - Perform any other duty as may be assigned
by the supervisor
Experience:
- The applicants for the USAID Project
Monitoring and Evaluation jobs must possess University Degrees in
Statistics, Demography, Economics, Population Studies and Social Sciences
or related field, a post graduate qualification in Monitoring and
Evaluation will be an added advantage; - A minimum of three years or M&E or
related field related experience. - Highly knowledgeable and competent in
Monitoring and Evaluation of HIV/AIDS-related programmes with an emphasis
on OVC programs, data analysis and reporting systems, Project Planning and
Management. - Previous experience in using mobile devices
for data collection is an added advantage. - Programme monitoring and evaluation skills
- Advanced relevant computer skills

skills in use of data capture and analysis software
