Key Duties and
Responsibilities:
Responsibilities:
- Designs career programs according to the
needs of the learners - Conducts one-on-one sessions with the
learners concerning their careers and dreams - Rightly places technical students, guide
students on selection of subject combinations /Tertiary institutions ,
colleges, etc and marketable trade - Links up with resource
persons/facilitators to inspire students in their fields of expertise/guide
student on careers - The jobholder also networks for exposure,
trips and resource mobilization - Conducts academic conferences/guide them
on smart goals setting/revision tips/give information on value for
Education - Conducts One-on-one with students
concerning their academic improvement and strategies - Carries out Career data collection for all
classes from Nursery to S.6
Qualifications, Skills and
Experience:
Experience:
- The applicants for the Watoto Child Care
Ministries School Counselor jobs should hold Diplomas/Degrees counselling
or a related field. - A minimum of two years’ experience in a
school setting - Excellent interpersonal skills
- Show
commitment to work within a team environment - Keen
attention to detail - Excellent
communication skills - Good time management skills
- Ability to solve problems creatively
- Ability to work unsupervised
- High degree of flexibility, initiative and
confidentiality
