Responsibilities:
- Carry out a needs training assessment
- Conduct training and orientation for
guards reporting to the area/branch office - Conduct refresher training for in-service
guards - The jobholder will also determine training
needs and requirements for the organization or group by meeting with
managers, talking with employees, or administering surveys - Modify or create course materials and
training manuals to meet specific training needs - Monitor training programmes and manuals to
ensure that they are effective and up-to-date and makes updates as
necessary - Work closely with managers to address
learning issues, instruction problems, or new educational needs regarding
specific employees or departments
Experience:
- The ideal candidate should hold at least a
Diploma or equivalent in relevant discipline. Possession of a bachelor’s
degree will be an added advantage. - Service in Military, police, prisons or
any related security area is essential. - Effective oral and written communication
skills - Active listening skills
- Ability to assess and evaluate situations
effectively - Ability to identify critical issues
quickly and accurately - Keen attention to details
