Key Duties and
Responsibilities:  
  • Carry out a needs training assessment
  • Conduct training and orientation for
    guards reporting to the area/branch office
  • Conduct refresher training for in-service
    guards
  • The jobholder will also determine training
    needs and requirements for the organization or group by meeting with
    managers, talking with employees, or administering surveys
  • Modify or create course materials and
    training manuals to meet specific training needs
  • Monitor training programmes and manuals to
    ensure that they are effective and up-to-date and makes updates as
    necessary
  • Work closely with managers to address
    learning issues, instruction problems, or new educational needs regarding
    specific employees or departments
Qualifications, Skills and
Experience: 
  • The ideal candidate should hold at least a
    Diploma or equivalent in relevant discipline. Possession of a bachelor’s
    degree will be an added advantage.
  • Service in Military, police, prisons or
    any related security area is essential.
  • Effective oral and written communication
    skills
  • Active listening skills
  • Ability to assess and evaluate situations
    effectively
  • Ability to identify critical issues
    quickly and accurately
  • Keen attention to details
