Job Summary: The Engineer is
primarily responsible for performing engineering tasks within the Country
Program following established standards and procedures. This position requires
that the person resides either in Northern or Eastern Uganda. The position
requires travel to remote locations within the respective region to carry out
assessments, inspections or training.

Responsibilities:
Responsibilities:
- Offer technical direction and assistance
for technicians, contractors and volunteers in the field. - Provide on-site project management in
support of approved projects. - Carry out field inspections and site
assessments as needed under the direction of the Lead Engineer. - Maintain regular contact with supervisors
and stakeholders through timely reporting.
Qualifications, Skills and
Experience:
Experience:
- The applicants for the Water Mission
Engineer jobs should hold Bachelor’s degrees in Engineering – Civil,
Chemical, or Mechanical - A minimum of two years of experience in
water and/or wastewater engineering - Advanced skills with office computer
programs. - Excellent analytical skills, project
planning, monitoring and management skills. - Excellent verbal and written
communications skills (English & Luganda/Lusoga/Luo)
