Key Duties and
Responsibilities:  
  • The Communications Officer will be
    responsible for the implementation of communication strategies for cross
    functional projects, organizing events, meetings, press conferences as required.
  • Take part in writing communications,
    ensure staff are engaged in Company activities, update the media database.
  • Actively participate in execution the Company’s
    digital media strategies.
  • Monitor mainstream social media issues and
    events.
Qualifications, Skills and
Experience:
  • The ideal candidates for the TOTAL
    Communications Officer job opportunity must hold a Bachelor’s degree in
    journalism, communications or a similar discipline.
  • At least three years’ experience in
    communications
  • Demonstrated ability to initiate research,
    innovate and keep updated on current technologies, techniques and trends.
  • Well-developed computer skills, including
    proven ability to maintain/update websites, and a demonstrated
    understanding of the internet, social media, multi-media tools and desktop
    publishing;
  • Excellent communication skills both oral
    & written. Fluency in English
  • Knowledge of French language is an added
    advantage.
  • Good diplomatic and interpersonal skills.
