Key Duties and
Responsibilities:  
  • The job holder will ensure active
    participation in the preparation of technical documentation to facilitate
    the approvals of partners and the Government.
  • Provide support in the preparation of
    documents for Call for tender, Expression of Interest and evaluation of
    bid documents for geo technical and geophysical surveys in liaison with
    the Contracts and Procurement department, ensuring that information in the
    tender documents is compliant Company and National regulations
  • Provide support to geotechnical and
    geophysical operations. In addition, coordinating the pre-mobilization
    phase including permitting, kick off meetings and validation of the
    Health, safety and Environment (HSE) Management systems.
  • Act as a liaison between the EACOP
    entities and the contractors prior to the mobilization of site surveys,
    following up and updating the surveys planning execution and issue the
    monthly cost reports.
  • Ensuring proper close out of activities on
    site. Coordinating all site activities in liaison with the Responsible for
    Safety on Site (RSES).
  • Work closely with the Contractors Field
    Operation Supervisor of the Site Survey.
Qualifications, Skills and
Experience:
  • The ideal candidates for the TOTAL Methods
    Preparation Engineer & Site Operations Coordinator job opportunity
    must hold a Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, surveying, Earth Sciences,
    Geotechnical or Geophysical or related field
  • At least seven to ten years’ experience
    including working in a supervisory role in geotechnical and geophysical
    surveys.
  • Proven experience on in both on shore and
    offshore Geophysical and Geotechnical site surveys
  • In-depth knowledge of the Oil & Gas
    Health ,Safety and Environment (HSE) and logistics requirements and
    standards applicable to surveys
  • Excellent communication, numeracy and
    analytical skills
  • Good organizational and supervisory skills
