Job Summary: The Human
Resources Manager will be managing all aspects of the human resource function
for the organization with the responsibility for independently planning,
organizing, setting department goals and objectives, and reporting results to
the country director. Functions will include managing benefits, wage and salary
administration, discipline and grievance handling, employee and labor
relations, managing the performance appraisal system, recruiting, training,
health and safety, time and attendance management and act as custodian for the
HR software.
Qualifications, Skills and
Experience:
  • The applicant for the American Refugee
    Committee (ARC) Human Resources Manager job placement should hold a Post
    graduate diploma in HR Management
  • Possession of a University degree in Human
    Resource Management
  • A minimum of three years’ experience
    working in the field of Human Resource, preferably in a humanitarian
    organization.
  • Computer literacy skills i.e. proficiency
    and knowledge of HR software programs.
  • Previous experience in managing and
    working with diverse staff and confronting challenging situations.
  • Demonstrated ability to work in
    multicultural settings.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication
    skills
  • High level of confidentiality and
    integrity
  • Result-oriented
