• Prepare monthly and quarterly strategy
  performance update reports for the bank’s Executive Committee (EXCO) and
  Board of Directors’ review.
• Keenly analyse the performance of business
  segments, products, branches, relationship management and distribution
  channels.
• Support the bank’s cost management
  initiative through review of business activities to establish “value for
  money” and budget alignment.
• Provide in-depth performance analysis to
  facilitate the CFO and the Business Unit Heads to drive profitability.
• Keenly monitor achievement of timeliness
  for strategic action plans and assessment of related impact on strategy
  implementation.
• Drive the budgeting process and ensure
  that all strategic initiatives are budgeted for and the set time lines are
  adhered to.
• Manage the bank’s revenue assurance system
  by effectively investigating all revenue streams to avoid revenue
  leakages.
• Facilitate staff productivity through
  knowledge sharing on Management Information Systems and Management
  Reporting.

• The ideal candidate for the Ecobank Head,
  Strategy and Management Accounting job opportunity must hold a Bachelor’s Degree
  in Accounting, Commerce, Economics, Statistics or any other related
  discipline.
• Professional qualification such as ACCA,
  CPA, CIMA.
• At least five years’ experience in
  financial / product analysis preferably with a banking or financial
  institution.
• Broad knowledge of strategy formulation
  and monitoring.
• Sound knowledge of banking products and
  their accounting treatment.
• Previous experience in automation of
  reports for Regulators, Management and other stakeholders.
• Ability to interpret and translate
  requests into measurable and quantifiable forms.
• Ability to work under tight deadlines
  while ensuring accurate delivery.
• Excellent knowledge of MIS, customer
  analytics and database management.
• Good leadership and teamwork skills.
• Good presentation, reporting and
  communication skills.
