About US:
Joint Clinical Research Centre (JCRC) is a National Ugandan
Organization that was established in 1991 as a Medical Institution and HIV/AIDS
Centre of Excellence specializing in Medical Research, Health Care and
Training.
Job Summary: The Head of
Internal Audit is primarily responsible for planning, executing and reporting
on operational, financial, and regulatory and compliance related audits/reviews
of JCRC. The incumbent will provide advice on internal control to JCRC
management including responding to questions on risk management.
Qualifications, Skills and
Experience: 
  • The ideal candidate for this job placement
    must hold an advanced degree in management related field.
  • Full membership to a professional body
    like ACCA and CIA is a MUST.
  • The applicant must also hold a Bachelor’s
    Degree in Commerce/ Bachelor of Science in Accounting and Finance or
    Business Administration majoring in Accounting.
  • A minimum of five years of relevant audit
    experience at senior management level in a large organization.
  • Capability and willingness to take
    responsibility and highly developed sense of integrity.
  • Ready to comply and live up to and in
    accordance with the JCRC policies and Core Values.
