Key Duties and
Responsibilities:  
  • The job holder is responsible for
    following-up on the various aspects of Safety Audits and Contracts.
  • Supporting the Health & Safety Methods
    Engineer in updating and developing the Health & Safety management
    System (HSE MS), ensuring that the National and International Oil &
    Gas regulations and best practice is incorporated in the Company’s Health
    & Safety reference documents.
  • Preparing a Health & Safety audit
    check list with rating, organizing audits in the affiliate and issuing
    action plans.
  • Participate in the selection and
    evaluation of contractors as per Health & Safety requirements.
  • Follow-up and have discussions with site
    personnel to ensure their input is included in the Company reference
    document.
  • Ensure Compliance to the Company’s Health
    & Safety Guidelines, Policies and Procedures
  • Take part in the development of the
    Company’s Health and Safety Audit plan and issuing of audit reports.
  • Follow-up on audit action plans and
    provide regular updates in including updating the HSE Committee and HSE
    board
Qualifications, Skills and
Experience:
  • The ideal candidates for the TOTAL Safety
    Engineer (Audit & Contracts) career opportunity must hold a Bachelor’s
    degree in Engineering
  • At least two to three years’ experience in
    the upstream with proven background in Safety Engineering for Oil &
    Gas
  • In-depth knowledge of International Health
    & Safety standards
  • Broad knowledge and understanding on
    Safety Audits and use of Safety Management Systems
  • Excellent communication skills both oral
    and written English
