About US:
The Eastern and Southern African Management Institute (ESAMI) is an
intergovernmental regional management development centre whose primary
objective is providing the region with trained personnel in a number of
critical areas including policy management, transportation management,
financial management, information technology management, health management,
human resources management, project management, energy and environment
management and gender management among others. The focus was to train middle to
senior managers from the region to improve their managerial performance taking
into consideration the global issues but with a regional focus relevant to the African
environment.

Job Summary: The Country
Coordinator will be responsible for the Business development and marketing of
ESAMI products and services and management of the Country Office in Kampala

Responsibilities:
Responsibilities:
- Tasked with marketing and promoting ESAMI
services and activities – training, consultancy and research in the
country - Carry out market research and compile
market reports to help improve the quality of service delivery - Prospect for new clients, grow business by
penetrating new markets and make follow – up accordingly - Gather relevant information on market
characteristics, products, services and customer behavior and design
relevant strategies - Attend to customer queries, perform public
relations and publicity activities to project positive ESAMI image - Assess magnitude and nature of competition
and advise on appropriate strategies - Manage both finances and office operations
and generate revenue as per target to be agreed upon from time to time - Write business proposals
- Perform any other duties as may be
assigned from time to time.
Qualifications, Skills and
Experience:
Experience:
- The applicant must hold a first degree in
a relevant field. A specialization in Marketing will be an added advantage - At least three years’ experience in a
regional or international organization or Institution dealing with
capacity building programmes or other related professional services - Managerial skills
- Highly analytical skills
- Good public relations and client
management skills - Good marketing and business development
skills - Good proposal writing skills
