Responsibilities:
- Tasked with the participation in budget
preparation, Budget/Cost Monitoring, Reporting and review in liaison with
relevant budget holders of the Pipeline Project team. - Preparation of the audit documents.
- Ensure active Involvement in Commercial
budgets preparation for Surveys, Pre-FEED (Front End Engineering Design),
FEED, Logistics, Technical, Environment & Societal, in conjunction with
budget holders. - Follow-up and release of purchase
requisition, purchase orders after ensuring budget availability control
and checking correctness of amounts, cost allocations, cost objects, etc. - Actively participate in the monthly
accounting closure activities including preparation of accruals. Ensure
budget/performance monitoring and reporting. - Responsible for the preparation of monthly
Midstream Cost Control reports. Organise regular cost review meetings with
budget holders . - Offer
assistance to Midstream and other departments on all financial and
cost control issues. - Prepare and submit reports for the
meetings organized with the Midstream Partners (IOCs, GoU, GoT and PipeCo
Shareholders). - Attend to queries from internal/external
auditors, Joint Venture Partners, vendors
Experience:
- The ideal candidates for the TOTAL Cost
Controller job opportunity must hold a Bachelor’s degree in Financial
Management, Accounting or related field. Professional qualification is an
added advantage - At least three years’ experience in budget
& cost control in Oil & Gas sector. - In-depth knowledge of FI/CO/MM/JVA modules
of SAP accounting software. - Excellent knowledge of Microsoft office
(Excel, PowerPoint and Word) - Excellent communication, interpersonal and
analytical skills and ability to work as team
