• The jobholder will also prepare and
  effectively implement audit plans and programs in support of company
  goals.
• Tasked with the critical review of the
  adequacy and effectiveness of internal controls and recommending necessary
  improvements.
• Conduct special audit investigations in
  the Company as assigned.
• Coordinate the audit of value for money
  for projects and assignments undertaken by the Company.
• Offer timely support to the Chief Internal
  Audit, Risk and Compliance Officer in the preparation and realisation of
  the audit plans and preparation/presentation of audit reports.
• Manage the audit of accountability of
  Company funds.
• Develop and implement an appropriate
  compliance monitoring framework to ensure compliance with internal
  policies, laws and regulations by the Business Units to enable them
  achieve compliance in their processes.
• Identify compliance gaps and ensure timely
  and effective communication to the relevant business process owners.
• Institute an appropriate reporting
  mechanism and follow up of corrective actions to be taken to ensure their
  effective execution.
• Perform any other assignments by the Audit
  Committee of the Board.

• The
  applicant should preferably hold a Bachelor’s degree [Hons] in a relevant
  field such as Bachelor of Commerce and Bachelor of Business
  Administration.
• ACCA,
  CIA, CPA, or other Internationally recognized professional accounting
  qualification.
• Possession
  of a Master’s degree in a relevant field.
• Full
  professional membership of the Institute of Internal Auditors
• A
  minimum of seven years of relevant internal audit working experience of
  which at least 5 has been at a senior level.

  knowledge of the operations and understanding of practices within the
  industry
