Information System Officer
livelihoods are shattered by conflict and disaster to survive, recover, and
gain control of their future. It was created by Albert Einstein more than 80
years and has been working in Uganda since 1998. It has particularly working in
the conflict zones where tens of thousands of people have been kills and over
1.6 million displaced. Following a peace agreement in 2006, Ugandans are
returning home and looking to rebuild their lives. The IRC is there to protect
women and children from violence and exploitation by fostering a safe
environment and encouraging education, and is supporting farmers and small
businesses, and helping communities promote peace and long-term development.
Information Assistant will facilitate
smooth flow and access to information through records Management for
action and decision making.
- In
charge of receiving, registering and classifying correspondences; - Tasked
with filing classified information; - In
charge of routing correspondences to responsible officers for action; - Tasked
with auditing records and registers to ensure proper data bank; and - Scheduling
disposal of unwanted records and information.
Experience:
- The ideal candidate for the IRC Health
Information Assistant job placement should hold a certificate in Health record and Information Management or a
Diploma in Library and Information Science (DLIS) from a recognized
institution with two years of progressive experience in record management. - At
least two years’ experience in community nutrition and implementation. - Good
Information Communication Technology; - Skills
and experience in records and information management; - Good communication skills
