We have a rich experience in several industries ranging from Oil and Gas,
Insurance and financial services among others. They would like to recruit for a
valuable client, a distributor of premier and international personal care
products and confectionery brands and products such as Colgate, SC Johnson,
glade, Mr. Muscle, Cadbury chocolate, Axion, Protex, Palm Olive, Sta Soft, Tang
among others and that her client is into the distribution of premier wines and
spirits but on a low scale that it would like to scale up this product segment;
Her client deals with dealers and distributors for upcountry markets, direct
distribution in Kampala via direct distribution to retailers,
hyper-supermarkets and A & B class supermarkets.
Key Duties and
  • The sales executive will be collecting
    orders and follows up on collections, punching and entering all order data
    into the handheld device. Keeping and maintaining proper records of orders
    and collections, returning all the products that have not been sold due to
    expiry circumstances.
  • Keeping track of payments from clients who
    pay on installments, banking on daily basis money received from daily
    sales, weekly reconciliation with accounts as per the schedule put in
  • Acting as a contact between the Company
    and its existing and potential markets / customers.
  • Tasked with briefing the sales manager on
    day to day sales out-comes and field challenges and giving feedback for
    future buying and selling trends to superiors.
  • In charge of representing the Company at
    trade exhibitions, events and demonstrations and advising the clients on
    forth coming product developments and discussing special promotions.
  • Research and analyze sales and market
    options and approaching potential customers with the aim of gaining new
    business, as well as maintaining good relationships with clients
Key Performance Indicators:
  • Level of new client identification
  • Increase of sales level and meeting sale
  • Product delivery consistency
  • Consistency of product information
  • Cash and cheque collection
  • Due clearance from the clients.
Qualifications, Skills and
  • The applicant should preferably hold a
    Bachelor’s degree or diploma from a recognized university in Business,
    Sales and marketing or related field.
  • At least three years of exposure and
    experience in sales and marketing
  • Good client relationship management skills
  • String drive for performance excellence
  • Good negotiation skills
  • Motivation for sales
  • Meeting sales goals
  • High degree of creativity
  • Sales planning skills
  • Good sales skills and ability to
    communicate clearly and courteously, fluent in spoken and written English.
  • Knowledge of local languages is essential
  • Ability to handle sales related pressure
    and discipline to work alone for long periods.
