Auditor
Statutory Body under the Uganda Registration Services Bureau Act Cap. 210, Laws
of Uganda 2000 Edition. The Bureau is a key player in commercial and civil
registrations that facilitate private sector development and vital statistics
for national planning.
Auditor will provide independent assurance that URSB’s risk management,
governance and internal control process are operating effectively.
Responsibilities:
- Implements the work plan as follows:
- Conducts discussions with
unit heads - Keenly reviews the internal
controls of the processes being audited and reporting to the Senior
Internal Auditor as may be necessary - Drafts audit reports.
- Prepares audit working
papers. - Follows up of the audit
queries. - Reviews accountabilities for all cash
advances. - Receives items to the stores – Physical
verification and review of the procurement files. - Carries out audit monitoring and
evaluation for regional offices.
Experience:
- The ideal candidate for the Uganda
Registration Services Bureau (URSB) Internal Auditor career placement must
hold an honours degree such as B.Com/BBA/BSc with a bias in Accounting - At least level 3 of CPA or any other
professional accountancy body - A minimum of three years’ experience in
auditing gained by working with a reputable auditing firm or public
organisation, - Computer literacy skills
