Job Summary: The Employee
Relations Specialist will develop, monitor, implement and maintain
employer-employee relationships that contribute to satisfactory productivity,
motivation and morale through resolution of disputes, grievances and
disciplinary challenges in line with employee terms and conditions of employment,
Bank Policy, employment laws and regulations.
Key Duties and
Responsibilities:  
  • Tasked with reviewing, coordinating and
    implementing the Bank’s disciplinary process, ensuring that an objective
    and fair system is in place and that all matters are addressed in a timely
    manner in line with Bank policies and employment laws of Uganda.
  • Review, coordinate and implement the
    Bank’s grievance handling process ensuring that an objective and fair
    system is in place and that all matters are addressed in a timely manner
    in line with Bank policies and employment laws of Uganda.
  • The incumbent will also review, coordinate
    and monitor the implementation of the Bank’s OSH Environment in line with
    Bank policy and OSHA provisions.
  • Coordinate and resolve employee labour
    issues and problems in line with labour laws and Bank policy.
Qualifications, Skills and
Experience:
  • The ideal candidate for the Centenary Bank
    Employee Wellness Specialist job placement should hold a Bachelor’s degree
    in Human Resource Management or related discipline
  • Three (3) years exposure in a related
    field/role
  • Superior communication skills
  • Excellent interpersonal and negotiation
    skills
  • Computer proficiency
  • Good counselling and conflict resolution
    skills
  • Good listening skills
  • Emotional resourcefulness
  • Excellent analytical and report writing
    skills
