Key Duties and
Responsibilities:
Responsibilities:
- Prepare cheques and payment vouchers for
scheduled payments in time and allocate correct codes and cost centres to
all expenses; timely posting of the General Ledger and subsidiary books of
account i.e. Cash Book, Purchase Journals, General Journal Book, etc. - The jobholder will prepare monthly financial
reports, monthly journal vouchers for salaries and wages, stock
reconciliation, bank reconciliation, etc. - Participate in the preparation of cash
flows and the organization’s budgets - Provide support in the preparation of
monthly budget variance analysis reports and staff pay rolls - Enter data into computer using Tally
software or any other Accounting software package that might be in use at
the time. - Participate in the preparation of annual
financial statements. - Keep the file/book for staff advances or
monies/floats to staff and follow up the accountabilities. - The incumbent will maintain good filing
system and storage of all accounts records - Perform any other duties assigned by the
Director of Finance and Administration.
Qualifications, Skills and Experience:
- The applicant must hold a B.Com
(Accounting option), BBA, Diploma in Business Studies/Administration or
other related qualifications - Professional qualifications from relevant
reputable organizations - A minimum of two years of related working
experience.
