Key Duties and
Responsibilities:  
Program Implementation:
  • Provide support in the implementation of
    ongoing activities within field offices/Hubs
  • Carry out sensitization meetings such as
    Sub County and Health and Water committee meetings, Community education
    meetings
  • Data management, collection and managing
    activity trackers /PROGMIS for the ongoing activities.
  • Conduct back checks for the ongoing
    activities (both physical and phone)
  • Supervise CSA’s to fix basic dispenser
    maintenance issues using hand-drills and hand riveting tools and or any
    other appropriate tools.
  • Ensure that chlorine delivery rounds are
    executed effectively for dispensers that they are responsible for.
Human Resources:
  • Manage, train, supervise, mentor, shadow
    and coach community service assistants in the execution of their duties.
  • Manage time check –in and out of CSA’s
    based in the field office that the Lead Field Officer manages.
  • Ensure that all staff in the field office
    follow Evidence Action culture as they go about their responsibilities.
Financial Management and Planning:
  • Manage funds assigned for daily running of
    the field office and office activities in line program activities and
    within the organization finance policy
  • Effectively manage office/field transport
    logistics (motorcycles) with close attention on fuel, maintenance/repair
    costs.
  • Developing weekly work plans and reports
    for community service assistants.
  • External Relationships
  • Manage relationships with government staff
    health and Water and sanitation staff based at Sub County levels.
  • Participate in district WASH Committee
    meetings/network activities.
Office Administration and Logistics:
  • Take delegated responsibilities in
    logistical and field operation planning, supervision and reporting.
  • Field office/hub inventory management
Key Performance Indicators:
  • Undertake stakeholders and community
    meetings to the required standards and within set timelines.
  • Ensure that all dispensers in allocated
    area are functional and have chlorine all the time.
  • Ensure that households in responsible area
    meet the required adoption target.
  • Ensure that quality data is sent to the
    server according the Evidence Action SOPs.
  • Ensure that all resources and assets are
    accounted for.
  • Ensure strong partnerships and
    relationships with dispenser customers and key stakeholders such as Health
    Assistants, CDO. Sub County Chiefs, LCs etc…
Qualifications, Skills and
Experience: 
  • The ideal candidate should preferably hold
    a University Degree in social sciences, development studies, community
    work, project management or equivalent from a recognized institution;
  • Excellent written and spoken English
    required; Eastern languages desirable 
  • High level of financial integrity and
    stewardship.
  • High level of integrity and stewardship.
  • Good conceptual skills with an analytical
    mind and problem solving skills.
  • Good People Management & leadership
    skills.
  • Team work: Embraces team work
    and aspires and supports the ideals of working in a team work environment
