About US:
An International leading Solar Energy Provider In Uganda operating in Western
Uganda in the districts of Mbarara, Ibanda, Kiruhura, Bushenyi, Sheema,
Ntungamo, Rubirizi, Isingiro, Mitooma, Ibanda, Kyegegwa, Sembabule and Buhweju.
Key Duties and
Responsibilities:  
  • The Energy Store Manager will mobilize and
    sensitize potential clients
  • Assess the credibility of the clients and
    to monitor the payment rate
  • The jobholder will also plan, budget and
    monitor the performance of the energy store in relation to the targets
  • Keenly analyze, compile and submit reports
    as per the reporting standards
  • The incumbent will supervise the team at
    the energy store
  • Prepare client service contracts and other
    documentation for installation solar home systems
Qualifications, Skills and
Experience: 
  • The ideal candidate should preferably hold
    a degree/diploma from a recognized institution in Electrical Engineering
  • A minimum of two to three years’
    experience in middle management position.
  • Working knowledge of credit sales
    management is a key attribute
  • Specialized training in Solar Electricity
    is an added advantage.
  • A team leader, goal-driven,
    result-oriented individual with ability to work under pressure and meet
    targets.
  • Good communication skills and have the
    ability to deliver sales, be able to speak local languages, and able work
    in a rural setting under minimum supervision.
  • Excellent in sales, marketing and
    mobilization skills
  • Excellent communication skills and ability
    to work with teams
  • Excellent in management and leadership
    skills
  • Demonstrated ability to give appropriate
    guidance and feedback to clients
  • Ability to negotiate and sell solar Home
    systems
  • Ability to work under pressure to meet
    targets with minimum supervision
  • Flexibility and ability to work in rural
    settings
